Biography

Professor Foster joined the faculty in 2026 with nearly two decades of experience in legal education, including online instruction. He focuses on developing programs that promote students’ success in the classroom, on the bar exam, and throughout their professional careers. 

Over the course of his academic career, he has worked to integrate bar readiness and professional skills development across the curriculum, giving students a strong foundation for practice long before graduation. He has prepared law graduates to sit for bar exams in jurisdictions across the country, bringing broad experience in bar preparation to his work with students in Michigan and beyond in the online JD program. 

In addition to directing the program, Foster will teach first-year and upper-level courses in the online JD program, allowing him to work directly with students in the classroom while helping shape the future of online legal education at 蘑菇视频 Law. 

A member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, he practiced insurance defense before transitioning to academia.
