Biography
Dr. Sara Gifford has been drawn to Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ's mission-oriented curriculum since her time as a student in the McAuley School of Nursing. Prior to joining the faculty of MSON, she worked in various capacities at the University with the Student Success Center and the STAR Center Simulation Team. Dr. Gifford currently serves as an assistant professor and primarily teaches pre-licensure nursing students with a focus on fundamentals, pharmacology, and NCLEX preparation.
Dr. Gifford earned her DNP, MSN and BSN from Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ. She is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist with 10 years of clinical practice experience in adult critical care and medical-surgical environments.
