Biography

Sarah J. Garrison is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean of Bar Preparation at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Law, where she has supported law students’ academic success and bar readiness since joining the University in 2015. She teaches Bar Exam Strategies and mentors students preparing for bar exams across the country.  As a national active leader in the academic support and bar preparation community, she has served on the executive boards of the Academic Support Section of Association of American Law Schools (AALS) and Association of Academic Support Educators (AASE), serving as Treasurer for the 2024–25 term. Her scholarship and professional work focus on bar exam reform, alternative licensure pathways, practical strategies that promote student learning, and success on high-stakes exams. She earned her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and holds a B.A. with honors in History and Political Science from Alma College.
